If you’ve ever experienced your thumb slipping on the spool of a multiplier reel when casting then this neat device will help you get a grip. Simply fix the device on the rod where you want it, add the thumb pad and you now have a firm grip of the spool. It will also protect your thumb from line burns and cuts from leader knots when line leaves the spool at high speed.
