SINKING:
One of the greats, sinking version of the above. The Daiwa sliding weight system provides maximum casting range in this lure, a system I loved in the now discontinued Team Daiwa Shad range which never caught on, probably due to its shape but what a terrific lure that was! This range in the minnow shape though are deadly. Little you need to do, just retrieve and now and again impart a twitch or two. Colours available are Anchovy, Laser Chartreuse Rainbow and Burning Sardine in two sizes, 14cm and 17cm. This is the Daiwa Salt Shad Floating (TD-ST S9F). Normal retail £9.99. My Price £8.99. Buy two for £14.99 With a simple jerk (that's rod action, not the angler!) this lure emits a tantalizing irregular rotating wobble that will attract even the most inactive predatory fish. Length 9cm, Weight 13g, Depth 1m. From the top the colours are, AYU, Translucent Minnow, Pearl White, Konoshiro and Black Shiner. The above is also available as a sinking lure, Salt Shad Sinking in the same colours but slightly heavier at 17g. The code is TD-ST S9S. This is the Daiwa TD Pencil. I have two sizes, 1110 F (TDL1110F) and 1120 F (TDL1120F) Normal retail £9.99. My Price £8.99. Buy two for £14.99 A surface lure where the hollow mouth design forces air and water through the gill openings. Very intriguing. I gave one of these to a friend of mine to try and on his 5th cast he landed a small Bass, only a pound and a half but it did the trick. I only have a few colours left now. In the smaller size we have Translucent Perch (top left), Yellow Spot (2nd from bottom on left) and Translucent Minnow (top left). In the larger size we have Translucent Perch (top right), Chrome Clown (bottom left) and top left is the Translucent Minnow. Length 12.5cm, weight 19g.
