The Deep Blue Boat Rods have already
built a ‘cult following’, since their introduction and epitomise the very
best boat rods on the market today. Make no mistake, these are not US style
stand-up or trolling rods. The Deep Blue range was developed over a period
of 2 years to meet the requirements of UK boat fishermen, looking for
perfection. The blanks have sensitive tips allowing you to feel every bite,
while the steep taper, combined with varying wall thickness and an
innovative mix of carbon fibre grades, provides a progressive power curve,
right down to the butt. Finished in a lustrous deep blue, with strong rings,
subtle whippings & decals the Deep Blue oozes class. Unlike most boat rods
on the market, the Deep Blue range are accurately rated to IGFA line
classes, so if we say it’s a 12lb Class, it is. At 7ft 7ins they are 2 pce
and they offer the ideal length for the serious boat angler with a model to
suit all fishing situations. The 3 lighter rods. the 8lb, 12lb & 20lb use a
push-in firm spigot join for the butt section, while the heavier 30lb & 50lb
use the screw locked butt section for extra security.
Deep Blue 8lb class:
An ultra sensitive inshore rod, ideal
for Bass, Plaice, Brill etc. Teamed up with the smallest Accurate reel, this
is undoubtedly the best lightweight outfit available.
Deep Blue 12lb class:
The 12lb is the perfect choice for the
inshore angler fishing reefs and inshore drop-offs, but with enough grunt
for reef Pollack etc.
Deep Blue 20lb class:
Without doubt the best ‘all-rounder’ in
the range. The 20lb Deep Blue offers the seasoned boat angler the best of
both worlds. Sensitive enough to fish inshore for Bass etc, but with enough
reserves of power to tame the hardest fighting wreck Pollack.
Deep Blue 30lb class:
The 30lb model is for the serious boat
angler who predominantly fishes wrecks. It is a very powerful rod & we have
used it for Blue Shark up to 110lbs which it coped with admirably.
Deep Blue 50lb class:
The 50lb class model is brute of a rod.
If your game is winching monster Conger out of mid-channel wrecks, then this
is the tool for the job.

poses a problem, as most boat rods are single or 2-pce, making travelling
difficult. To solve this problem, we offer 2 travel versions of the Deep
Blue rods. Both made with 4-pce blanks, they pack down to a neat 29” to fit
your luggage. Available in 12-20lb class for light to mid-range species and
30-50lbs for the ‘monsters of the deep!’ Although 4-pce blanks, we ensured
that the action & power-curves of these two travel models matched that of
the 2-piece models, precisely.

SNOWBEE DEEP BLUE CHARTER BOAT RANGE

boat rod on the market today! Following
the success of the original Deep Blue Boat Rods, Snowbee were constantly
asked for a mid-priced range to meet the demands of everyday anglers,
looking for quality & value. The new Charter Boat Rods exceeded the design
brief & offer unbelievable performance for rods of this price. For
travelling convenience, we used our expertise in designing multi-piece
fly-rods, to develop 3-pce blanks which pack down to a convenient 33”. Using
our well-proven Tri-Modulus Carbon Technology, we use a subtle mix of
different modulus carbon fibres down through the blank, to achieve a smooth
power curve, every bit as good as a 1-piece blank, with no ‘flat-spots’ on
the joins. The 7ft 6ins
blanks are the ideal length for the Charter Boat angler or inshore boat
fisherman. Fitted with strong, but lightweight graphite reel seats and Sic
lined rings throughout, the blanks are finished in a lustrous Deep Blue with
subtle whippings and cross whippings in Red,
Gold & Silver. The high
density foam grips offer all day comfort and warmth, for winter fishing &
there is a gimbal fitting as standard on all models, with a foam cover. The
rods come in a nylon rod bag, with mesh front to allow them to dry
naturally, plus a hanging loop for easy storage.
